To send a file, follow
the instructions below for each program:
Photo File:
Save in a JPEG format
and send as an attachment (do not use hi-pro or Tiff) and
save in at least 2OOdpi.
Quark File:
Save all items used
in the making of your project into a single file. Create
a new
file and save your project into it. Then,
click 'file', 'collect for output' and save all items into the file. Then send
the entire file as an attachment. Make sure all fonts used are listed in your
e-mail and save a copy of the fonts in your file that you are sending as an
attachment.
Illustrator File:
For easiest access
for us, change all your words to outlines before mailing
them.
Save your project as an Illustrator 6.0
or Illustrator EPS file and send. Also send any picture files used in your
project.
Photoshop File:
Send as a JPEG to
insure quick downloading. Include a copy of all fonts used
in the
project.
Microsoft Office 98:
These files do not
always transfer completely between Macintosh and Windows.
Reading your manual for the Microsoft program you are using
will help you better understand the program, and the best
possible method to save the file for e-mailing. If any
logos or special fonts are used, please send a copy of
the font and artwork.
