Who We Are

Rubye Del HardenRubye Del Harden, Owner and CEO
Rubye Del Harden, owner and CEO of SprintPrint and S.N.A.P., has been in the printing business all of her life, almost.

Her father, Delmus Harden, bought the newspaper and printing company in his hometown of Fulton, Miss., when Rubye Del was one year old.

She worked in the business from 7th grade until she graduated from Itawamba Community College.

After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with bachelor and master's degrees in education, she launched a career as a high school band director and later became a college psychology and sociology teacher.

She returned to Fulton in 1977 to run the family printing and newspaper business. In 1988, she started SprintPrint and in 1998, she started S.N.A.P, both based in downtown Tupelo.

She brings to the company not only her knowledge of the printing business but years of experience in sales and marketing, leadership and management, and business and community development.

Rubye Del also owns The Red Bay News in Red Bay, Ala.; Results, Inc., a consulting firm; co-owns ltawamba Diecutting and is the former owner of The Itawamba County Times and the Hamilton Progress.

Hildred TidwellHildred Tidwell, CFO
Hildred Tidwell, CFO, was recommended to Rubye Del by her longtime friend and CPA, Kermit Jones. Kermit told Rubye Del that she and Hildred were so much alike they would either love or hate each other.

They loved working together as Kermit suspected they would. Hildred had been an accounting manager since 1970 and she teamed up with Rubye Del in 1990 to serve as Chief Financial Officer of all of her companies.

Not only does she still do that today, but she also serves as General Manager of the screen-printing and advertising specialities division, S.N.A.P.

Hildred's natural management ability is reflected in her business philosophy - "The customer is number one."

Hildred's favorite occupation is spending time with her grandson, William. But when she is not doing that, she is at work striving to meet each customer's expectations and making sure that they are satisfied with every job we do, no matter how large or small.

Hildred and her husband, Hal, live in Dennis, Miss., and have two children, Tracy Tidwell who is a nurse practicioner and Billy H. Tidwell, Jr. who is a doctor of pharmacy.

Teresa FloydTeresa Floyd, COO
Teresa Floyd, COO, was discovered by Rubye Del when she worked for Rubye Del at The Itawamba County Times as a high school co-op student.

By the time she had been there for three months, Rubye Del recognized her let's-get-it-done attitude and put her in charge of the mailroom at the newspaper.

When Rubye Del started SprintPrint, one of the people she wanted on board was Teresa.

Teresa started at SprintPrint in 1992 and as the company quickly grew, she was placed on the top management team where she has remained.

Teresa's hard work and dedication is one of the main reasons SprintPrint has grown and prospered. Today Teresa is completely responsible for operations at SprintPrint including but not limited to inside sales, production, purchasing and quality control.

"Teresa is one of the most responsible and dependable people I have ever known," Rubye Del said. "She has never let me down." That's why Rubye Del trusts Teresa with SprintPrint's many customers. Teresa and her husband, Chris, and their daughter, Haley, live in Fulton.

Jan Pannell
Jan Pannell, Sales Manager
In 1992, Jan Pannell, Sales Manager, interviewed for the assistant manager position at SprintPrint. She didn't get the job.

At the end of the interview, Rubye Del said to Jan, "I don't want you to work in-house for me. I want you to sell for me." So Jan became SprintPrint's first outside sales representative.

Jan calls on people all over Northeast Mississippi and does an excellent job of taking care of her customers.

As the company grew, she was quickly promoted to sales manager. Jan's strengths are her enjoyment of people, her love of SprintPrint and her dedication to making sure her customers get exactly what they order when they need it.

She totally believes in the company she represents and it shows. In the business community, Jan is known as, "Miss SprintPrint." That's because she never misses an opportunity to tell people about our quality printing and excellent customer service.

Jan and her husband, John, residents of Blue Springs, MS, have two children, a son, John Malcolm, and a daughter, Sallie Morgan.
